The 2008-2009 Parents & Kids College Planner

Are you looking for a cost-effective way to get your institution's name in front of virtually every college-bound junior and senior in Mississippi?

The Parents & Kids 2008-2009 College Planner makes that possible for you. For less than $7.00 per high school, you will have your institution's full page, full color ad included in the College Planner. For less than you'd spend on postage for 15 letters, your ad will be in over 50,000 Planners distributed to every private and public high school in the state--all 353 of them, and at college fairs statewide.


Reach More High Schools

Your institution is invited to participate in this effort to make higher education accessible to Mississippi students. There are several ways we can help you inform these students.
  1. You can advertise in the College Planner. We have been publishing the Planner since 2004, with great success. It's even won two national awards, a clear indicator of its quality. When your ad appears in our Planner, it becomes part of the official guide of the Regional College Fair series-whether you elect to attend the fairs or not. Guidance counselors know our product and trust our content. Our Planner is distributed at fairs other than the regional fair, too.
  2. You can submit editorial to be considered for the College Planner. We are always looking for quality articles from professionals in the field. If your submission is accepted, the author and the author's institution will be acknowledged. Submissions must be sent in by June 15th. Topics that apply to many students-rather than just those applying to your school-will be given priority. Articles must fit our editorial needs-no school promos, please. Feel free to contact Gretchen Cook to enquire about specific editorial needs. We welcome your input.
Parents & Kids is an organization that has been providing quality information to Mississippi parents, teachers and students since 1991. We have a proven track record of producing quality fairs that are well organized and highly effective. In fact, many institutions attend our regional fairs and see ten to twenty high schools in a day in lieu of attending the same number of individual high school fairs.

Your ad in our College Planner will be placed in the hands of college-bound students at every high school in Mississippi. It will be distributed statewide, to every high school in the state.
